On August 17th, TNT celebrates the forest in this issue entitled "Long Live the Forest", as the Royal Dutch Forestry Society (KNBV) celebrates its 100th year. This association for professionals in Dutch forestry aims at bringing together the different actors in forest management to ensure that the functions and values of forests are maintained and shared.
The slogan of this anniversary is exactly "Lang leve hat bos!", Long Live the Forest, the name of this issue.
At the same time, TNT commemorates the link between the Netherlands and Suriname, and this South American nation is also well-known for its large tropical forests.
In the Netherlands, 10% of the land mass is forests.

Esta associação de profissionais florestais holandeses visa juntar os diferentes intervenientes na gestão florestal de modo a assegurar que as funções e valores da floresta são mantidas e partilhadas.
